By accessing or using StudyBridge AI ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the System.

2. Description of Service

StudyBridge AI is an AI-powered learning management system that provides educational tools including concept explanation, problem solving, quiz generation, flashcard creation, study planning, exam intelligence, and collaborative study features.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete registration information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or have parental/institutional consent)
One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

4. AI-Generated Content

The System uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies and should be verified
AI content is provided for educational support and should not replace professional advice
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs
You are responsible for evaluating and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the System to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Submit academic work generated by AI as your own original work in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Distribute malware or attempt to compromise system security
Scrape, mine, or automatically collect data from the System
Circumvent usage limits or access controls

6. Intellectual Property

The System, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StudyBridge AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you create using the System remains yours. By using the System, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyBridge AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the System, including but not limited to academic outcomes, loss of data, or business interruption.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the System at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your Account Settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, without prejudice to your rights under local consumer protection laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the System.
